A graduate of Parsons School of Design, Yael’s design philosophy is rooted in the belief that the best interiors sit at the intersection of expertise, a discerning eye, and a client’s own vision of home. Committed to creating spaces that feel both refined and inviting, Yael works with exceptional materials, each selected for their integrity, character, and enduring quality. Custom millwork, bespoke upholstery, and vintage finds are layered throughout her interiors, resulting in spaces that feel collected rather than decorated, and timeless rather than trend-driven. A keen appreciation for craftsmanship allows each project to feel deeply considered.

Yael splits her time between Manhattan and the Hudson Valley and leads residential and commercial projects along the East Coast. Alongside her design practice, she has worked as an End-of-Life Doula for 15 years, an experience that has deeply informed her understanding of ritual, meaning, and the spaces we create around life’s most significant moments.

She is also the founder of KISLEV, a collection of elevated Memorial Candles rooted in tradition and reimagined for modern spaces. Timeless in form and quietly elegant, KISLEV brings a design sensibility to an enduring ritual by honoring tradition in a new light.
